Amy Trujillo, DDS

In my frist visit with Dr. Amy Trujillo, I found her to be expert, experienced, compassionate, efficient, and encouraging during preparation for a crown replacement. I definitely will return to this practice.

After graduating from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1994, I moved to Colorado. Growing up in Virginia near the beach was amazing, but it was time for a change. I now enjoy the beauty of Colorado with my husband and son. I’ve practiced dentistry in Colorado Springs since 1994, and eventually opened Summit Dental in 2008. I’m fortunate that I’ve had most of the same staff for over 20 years. The office atmosphere is relaxed, but I always provide the highest standard of dental care. I enjoy building lasting relationships with our patients!

William Veazey DMD

Dr. Veazey is an awesome dentist, everyone in the office is very friendly. I have really bad anxiety, but they were so patient with me and made me feel comfortable and calm.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Bill Veazey is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care. A commissioned officer in the Navy Dental Corps during dental school, he completed his degree at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, followed by Officer Indoctrination School and a residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Veazey specializes in implant dentistry, has published research papers, and previously taught restorative dentistry at the University of Tennessee. As a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Florida, he developed a system to regenerate skin for burn patients. An active community member, Dr. Veazey volunteers at the National Museum of World War II Aviation and the Pikes Peak Regional Airshow. He is also pursuing a graduate degree at Johns Hopkins University in finance and engineering. Combining military precision, research expertise, and compassionate care, Dr. Veazey offers services ranging from cosmetic dentistry to implants and family care, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of treatment.

Dr. Hao Tran - Endodontist

I visited Dr. Tran for a root canal and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr. Tran was incredibly gentle and explained everything clearly, which made me feel really comfortable. If you need an endodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Tran!

Dr. Tran is an experienced endodontist with an excellent background in education and clinical training. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia University, and a Doctorate of Dentistry from New York University, College of Dentistry Dr. Tran completed his residency at Yale University, Yale New Haven Hospital and then specialized with a Certificate of Endodontology from Temple University, School of Dentistry. With his advanced knowledge and practical expertise, Dr. Tran is prepared to provide top-quality endodontic treatment and is dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Dr. Nicholas Nagaki - Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Nagaki was amazing. He took the time to explain every step, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable. The procedure went smoothly, and I felt genuinely cared for the entire time.

Dr. Nagaki is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in dentoalveolar surgery, with expertise in removing wisdom teeth and rehabilitating smiles with dental implants. With a deep commitment to precision and patient care, Dr. Nagaki offers a compassionate approach to helping patients restore both function and aesthetics. Dr. Nagaki began his academic journey at the University of Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology in 2010. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2015. Afterward, Dr. Nagaki completed an advanced residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut in 2021 during which he also earned his Medical Degree (MD). With specialized training in dentoalveolar procedures, Dr. Nagaki focuses on wisdom tooth extractions and the restoration of smiles using dental implants. He uses the latest techniques and technology to ensure that each patient achieves optimal results with minimal discomfort. Outside of the office, Dr. Nagaki enjoys spending time outdoors, whether golfing, skiing, or biking. He is also a proud family man, married with a daughter and a lovable golden doodle who adds joy to their family life. Dr. Nagaki is dedicated to delivering top-notch care and ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Dr. Theodore Struhs - Orthodontist

Dr. Ted Struhs is happy to say he grew up here in the South Denver area. After high school, he completed his biology degree at Colorado State University, while also earning a minor in anatomy and neurobiology. His studies took him to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, to study dentistry. At dental school, he received numerous academic awards, earned research honors, and was given top leadership roles. He graduated summa cum laude, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. This academic record gave him the chance to stay at Virginia Commonwealth University, known as one of the top academic and clinical orthodontic residencies. In 2005, he received his certificate as a specialist of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and a master’s degree in oral biology. Dr. Struhs returned to Colorado following his studies and sees patients in the same communities as the ones he grew up in — although you can imagine it’s a bit different than it was 35 years ago. He is proud to treat his patients with the most comfortable and efficient treatment techniques available. Dr. Struhs continues to be part of numerous dental study clubs, involves himself with community and school educational programs, and provides his office with the leading benefits of today’s evolving orthodontic profession. As a true Colorado native, Dr. Struhs still spends much of his time skiing in the winter and enjoying the beautiful summers here in Colorado. His wife, Julie, also grew up here, and they are happy to be able to raise their three kids in their own beautiful home town.
